Section titled “App icon shortcuts”Once Slate is installed, the app icon offers two shortcuts that jump straight into the AI Chat:

Safari does not support app icon shortcuts.
Known limitations
Section titled “Known limitations”- The installed app requires an internet connection: it’s not available offline.
Safari and preview links
Section titled “Safari and preview links”If a preview link won’t open on Safari (macOS, iPhone, or iPad), the most common cause is Safari’s pop-up blocker. Slate opens previews in a new window, and Safari blocks that by default. To fix it, allow pop-ups for Slate in Safari > Settings > Websites > Pop-up Windows, set app.slatebuilder.io (and the preview domain you’re opening) to Allow, and try the link again.
