Shared with me
When someone shares a course with you, it appears in Shared with me, a dedicated space in your workspace switcher. This keeps courses other people own separate from the ones in your personal library.
Finding shared courses
Section titled “Finding shared courses”Open the workspace switcher in the dashboard header and choose Shared with me. The switcher shows your Personal workspace, any Team workspace you belong to, and Shared with me. Selecting it lists every course that has been shared with you.
Each shared course shows Shared by [name] so you can see who owns it. Courses you can only view are marked View Only.
Shared courses do not count against your own storage. They stay in the owner’s account; you are simply working in their course.
Viewing and editing
Section titled “Viewing and editing”What you can do with a shared course depends on the access the owner gave you:
- Can view - you can open the course and read every lesson, but you cannot make changes.
- Can edit - you can open and edit the course just like your own, as long as you are on a paid plan. If you were given edit access while on the Free plan, the course stays View Only until you upgrade, then editing unlocks automatically.
See Access levels for the full breakdown of what each level allows.
Removing a shared course
Section titled “Removing a shared course”If you no longer need a course someone shared with you, you can remove it from your Shared with me list. This only removes it from your view; it does not delete the owner’s course, and they can share it with you again later.
